Are you looking for a new bible study? Maybe you don’t have time to go to a weekly bible study somewhere, but still, want to be joined with other women studying the bible. If so, the ready study is right for you! The online Ready Bible study starts today. If you haven’t ordered your book or joined the study, I cannot encourage you enough to do so! My book is coming in tomorrow and I can’t wait for it to get here! I’m going to supply you with the links below on where to do that! First, let me tell you a bit about the Ready Study and the author.
I virtually met Heather Dixon, a few weeks ago through a Christian Women blogging facebook group I’m on. She was sharing about this online bible study she is doing and asking for women to join the study and spread the word about it. She has self-published her bible study, and I really wanted to be apart of a launch like this to gain the experience as I am writing my first bible study! So I jumped in and asked to be apart of what she was doing.
Heather @ The Rescued Letters
As I have read about Heather’s Story and read through this bible study, I have been so encouraged. Heather’s blog is www.therescuedletters.com About two years ago, Heather was diagnosed with Vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. I would have never heard of this syndrome if it had not been for Mid-India Christian mission that our church supports. Vivek Lall is a missionary with Mid-India Christian mission and his daughter has been diagnosed with Ehler’s Danlos Syndrome. She has chronic pain, nausea, and forty other present symptoms from this disease. It is very rare.
Heather shares more of her story on her blog. You can read about it there. When she was diagnosed, her doctor’s told her to always stay close to a major hospital and begin to live out her bucket list. Because of vEDS, she is at risk for a number of complications that could be fatal. Before she received this diagnosis she had been studying in Joshua 1-5. God was preparing her and telling her to Get Ready!
Be Strong and Courageous
God tells Joshua, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
The bible is full of people getting ready. It is applicable to us today. Ephesians 6 tells us to put on the full armor of God so we will be ready to go to battle against Satan. When we put on the full armor of God we will be able to stand firm and stand our ground.
God warns us repeatedly through the bible to get ready. The battle is coming. We may not know when the battle will be, we may not know what the battle is that we will fight, but we need to be ready and prepared for when that day comes. Won’t you come and get ready with me?
If so, join me in this study. It starts TODAY! But it’s not too late to do the study on your own, join the facebook group, or sign up for the online study. I am including links below.
